Project 1,000 Hugs
In June 2024, Hugs From Friends sent 1,000 Beanie Babies and 1,200 pieces of art to children and families in Ukraine receiving therapy from the Ukrainian non-profit Voices of Children to help them overcome the trauma of war."
The Voices of Children Charitable Foundation was established in 2019 by human rights activist Olena Rozvadovska and journalist Azad Safarov. The Foundation provides psychological assistance, and personalized humanitarian support to families and works with communities and institutions for children throughout the country. Voices of Children was ranked as TOP-10 the most effective charitable foundations in Ukraine by Forbes.
