Partnership Highlights in U.S.
Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art hosted a commemorative Ukraine Independence Day event celebrating culture and resilience through art. The event featured art creation, a screening of Rule of Two Walls, a panel discussion, and a candlelight vigil to honor those affected by the conflict.

Hugs From Friends is honored to continue this partnership through: The Foreign Nationals and Immigrants Employee Resource Group, The You Mobile Art Lab, and Various Crystal Bridges community events.

Most recently, Crystal Bridges donated art kits from the KAWS exhibit to children receiving art therapy in Ukraine.
The mission of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is to welcome all to celebrate the American spirit in a setting that unites the power of art with the beauty of nature. In partnership with Hugs From Friends, Crystal Bridges created a commemorative event for Ukraine's Independence Day, aimed at educating and celebrating Ukraine's culture and resilience through art. Partnership Highlights in Ukraine
savED is an international charitable foundation that restores access to education in Ukrainian communities.
Hugs From Friends collaborated with savED in Chernihiv location. This partnership brought together students from Arkansas Arts Academy and Chernihiv through artwork and live video communication, enabling Arkansas students to learn more about the situation in Ukraine.
The relationship between Arkansas Arts Academy and savED continues through the exchange of solidarity themed artwork.

Our first packages of art went to the Humanitarian Aid Center in Przemysl, which served as a crucial destination for Ukrainians who crossed into Poland at the Medyka border crossing in 2022. The Center closed in 2022.
